The state of content marketing 2019
This article which I chose to write about is how to use marketing for you content if you have an online business or your business uses online platforms to get more customers and make it easy to communicate with them. I think that this is very useful because mostly everything happens online and with online marketing you can get more followers and buyers from foreign countries.
According to this article there are a lot of popular hastags used by a lot of websites related to content marketing. I am curious bacause how can new people find your website if you use the same hastags as people who use the same keywords but have popular websites too?.
This article is important for this study unit because everything is timely, importance for the future (it is clear that most of advertising and marketing happens online).
It´s also easy to read and has pictures. SEMrush is a new thing for me so it was useful to learn about that too and how much data businesses analyze, how we can use this data to learn.
In my opinion
I think that nowdays every website should have something unique or creator of that website should try to get in touch with their audience. For example speak their language, be present and talk with people. If that website has an instagram account they should reply back to comments. Therefore people can see that it´s also not a marketing tool for money but website/business owners also care about their audience.
Also for marketing strategy if you use specific keywords or hastags it´s important that you focus on few important ones and not many. If you use many of them then it might look like that you are trying too much. For me visual content is what give´s people a clear picture of you, who you are as a person or it can have hidden messages.
It´s interesting that this article has nothing about how active you should be when creating a content. Maybe it is about skills and not the fact that you should post many times in a week. Nowdays there are a lot of popular businesses that gain popularity in short time. Maybe before that they used other´s mistakes for their own benefit.
Money and marketing
From what I have seen is that there are a lot of online tools which are really expensive, I don´t think that it is a good idea to pay a huge amount of money for a tool you use maybe once or it does not work. Or they might work it really depends.
There are even apps where you can check everything people do on your website. But instead of using them maybe you could self educate yourself by using youtube? (some of thease youtubers have very succesfull channel´s because they use them to help others to succeed. Online marketing tools should be easy to use, not just for younger people and there should be instructions and rules.
A lot of companies earn so much money without really doing anything. They might do a product which is supposed to be helpful but it has the same instructions you can read free online.
What I learned
I learned a lot from data research, statistics and how it is one of the most discussed in twitter tweets related to analytics. How important some keywords are and why some of them are more expensive than others. Also why trends are a huge part of marketing especially for young adults and bigger companies.
Research datais a new and interesting thing for me. I did not know that there are so many apps you could use or when you are using an app that behind settings there is so much information (how many people view it every day, how long you´ve had that app).
I got so much information which got me thinking about some things what I have done with my apps in the past and how to make my content better in the future.
