Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work at the ski resort? Or spend the whole winter and spring in ski village?
One of the best ways to really enjoy winter is to work at a ski resort. I wanted some new experiences and decided to apply for a winter/spring season to work at the Levi Ski Resort. And luckily, I got a job as a child instructor. I will share my experiences and tell you a little bit about what it’s like to work and live here in Levi.
Even though I do long days at work, I feel like here I can really enjoy my free days and get rest really well. Sometimes I might even forget that I really work here. Levi has plenty of opportunities for different activities so you can spend all your free time outside while playing sports or enjoying nature.
During the Christmas, New Year and holidays, the village is filled with tourists. All the shops and grocery stores are full and there is lines everywhere. Locals carefully chooses the right time when they will visit the village. Basically there is rush in every place. But it’s perfectly normal during those times and it’s nice to see that tourists are able to travel again even we live in these uncertain times. After the high season village is almost strangely quiet.
Two best Benefits of Working at a Ski Resort
Working with like-minded people. Here in Ski Resort you are surrounded by adventurous and snow loving people. And in my Job as a child instructor we get to play with the kids all day and guide different daily activities for the tourists. Days are full of laughing and the days are never the same.
Free skiing. If you want to ski or snowboard a lot, working here is a dream for you! My most favorite benefit here is a free ski pass and ski rent for the whole season. So you can go to the slopes when ever you want. Also you get to enjoy the best weathers of the winter and spring. What would be better than watching sunsets from the slopes? Levi Ski Resort also offers free equipment rental for all other equipments than skis too. As well as various discounts for the shops in ski village. Workers can also use the ski bus for free throughout the season.

My experience here has been only good so far. I enjoy my work and on my free time I can do things I enjoy. I can take long walks in the middle of the winter wonderland and relax in the evenings in the sauna. Village of Levi is small and suitable and the people here is helpful and kind. I can’t wait for spring and the sunny weathers to arrive.
