About me<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

My name is Noora. I’m a 31 year old student and I live here in Lahti. My school University of Applied Sciences is in Rovaniemi Lapland, but I live here in Lahti and I do all my studies online. I also work in grocery store during my studies. I love the combination of work and studies, but sometimes it’s a bit hard to combine them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have I time to manage both?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Well, sometimes I would say yes, but sometimes no, not even close! I think it’s quite hard to combine studies and working. Sometimes it’s hard to know how much each courses take time. Some of courses really take time and concentration and some are easier. But it isn’t getting any easier, when studies are going forward. I’ve noticed, that sometimes my studies are not going so well, because of taking too much working shifts. Now I have been taking less shifts and going to concentrate more for studies. Sometimes it’s hard, because I wanna make some money too! And ofcourse freetime is important too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How am I doing? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Now I’ve noticed that I haven’t really had proper vacation during the summer and I’m a bit tired, even if the semester just started! That’s not good at all. When you are a student, you have to manage financially and keep up at work and studies. Having days or weeks off everything is also important. After a vacation everything just keeps going much better. Sometimes just a short break might be helpful. It’s not that easy to combine all of this. As a working student, it’s very important to know when it’s time to have a break and sometimes have some vacation too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the future<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the next Christmas I planned to take a proper vacation from school and also from work. On school vacations I always work, but sometimes a proper vacation is just good for you. In the future I am trying to do better job recognizing all the body signals when I’m too stressed or tired and need a break. Sometimes it’s okay to rest. Having money and getiing everything ready is important, but not that important, than your health. How are all you doing in there? Are you struggling with same issues?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
