Social media for private entrepreneur like me
I find the matter of the quality of the social media content in this article very true. I have made social media content couple of years for my company, and noticed that I need to find my own “voice” to have better results reaching my customers. For a private entrepreneur like me, the recourses to make any kind of actions in my company are limited such as time and money.
What kind of publications interests’ people more? Always when I post something where I introduce myself and what I am doing, I get likes. Or for example I publish a list of local small companies offering services, people are interested. Unfortunately I still haven’t been able to find the best customer groups for me and that prevents me for publishing good content.
Three ways of improving my social media content
- Finding the best customer groups. To be efficient and to be able to get the message thru I must find the best customer groups for me. There are at least three different groups, but I don’t think my message is clear for them.
- Capturing my own voice. To create interesting content I need to find out the best way for me to perform in social media. Pictures and videos are important in social media, so I must take more pictures where customers are to be seen. People have said to me it is nice to hear me telling stories. I think I must practice and try videos. Also, I must choose the themes of the posts carefully to interest the right audience.
- Selecting the most effective platforms. I need to check the numbers and amount of the interactions on my social media platforms. For example, if I try to reach the companies, who have international visitors, I have to publish in LinkedIn. If I try to reach international families I must be in Instagram or in Facebook.
To tackle the pain for small companies with social media
Wrap-up things I have noticed that all the content in social media depends on many factors of the entrepreneurship. You need to know your best customers, who and where are they from and on what platforms they are spending time. The products must be suitable for them and the communication and interaction with the customers should be in line with all you do. Resources should be used wisely to get the best results.
