Must-see places in Versailles and my unforgettable experience

Chateau de Versailles as an historical site is a destination for every history lover. My visit in Versailles was a success. While exploring the gardens and the castle it certainly feels like following the footsteps of Marie Antoinette or Ludvig XIV. It is easy to forget the track of time and it feels like travelling back in time.To enhance your visit it is possible to book guided tours or buy digital guidebooks while wandering through the premises.

A very cute little shop is located inside the main castle and it is possible to buy souvenirs such as jewellery, pillowcases, beauty accessorizes or books of Versailles. If you get hungry during the visit(which is very likely the case) in the gardens is located a terrace where you can buy French delicacies or you can try one of the restaurants near the main buildings. I recommend a visit to Versailles for history lovers like me but the city of Versailles is also a beautiful and unique place for idyllic day visit.

Mark a visit to Versailles to your bucket list if you love history and like to eat some croissant in France! 😉 Visiting Versailles is so worth it and you will not regret it!

Let me know if you have visited France or Versailles and share your experiences! <3
