FIRST
My name is Essi and I am twenty-five years old or so in a week I will turn 26. I live in Kangasala which is near to Tampere. My family includes a big sister, mom and dad.
FREETIME
In my free time i like to read books and go to outside enjoying nature. I also have a motorbike that i ride in the summer. My biggest hobby is downhill skiing. I have been doing it it for over 20 years. Once in year i travel to Lapland ski centers there is much bigger slopes than here near to me.
WORK
I work as a restaurant shift manager. My workplace is Sappeen Matkailukeskus in Pälkäne. In winter it is ski center and in summer there is Bike park, activity park and summer theater. We have four restaurants which all i work. There are also bands and performers in the spring. Winter season and summer season is very different. The best thing in my job is that no day is the same. I also like when we can plan the whole new season twice in year.
STUDIES
I always want to learn new and develop myself that was the biggest reason why I start studied in Laplands university of applied sciences. The online study was the clear choice beacause I want work at the same time. Sometime it has been little tough but I’ve still managed to complete everything on time. Hardest time is the beginning of the year because we have in work the busiest seson going and in school all new courses start so it requires clear planning between work and school.
