Who am I?
Hello everyone I decided to introduce myself as a first-ever blog post! Let’s start with the basics, so my name is Joel Manninen I’m a 24-year-old student and an entrepreneur living in Rovaniemi, balancing between studies, work, and free time.

I’m a passionate chef and food is in the centerpice of my life, sometimes maybe even too much. So naturally my business is also about food. Me and my girlfriend run together a small private charter restaurant Glowing Ember located in Ounasvaara. You might have also seen me on TV last autumn. I participated to Masterchef Suomi Professionals. It was all in all a great experience. It got me and my business some positive publicity and great contacts to the people in the industry.
Daily basis
My daily life is a mix of studying, running a business and creating new and developing myself in terms of cooking. To balance all that I go to the gym and spend quality time with my friends and girlfriend. Nature is also big resource for recharging my batteries after hectic daily life. So often I go for a hike to forest close by or somewhere further if possible.
