My name is Hanna and I’m participating on this course called Customer experience management in tourism. I had no idea what this course was about just by seeing the name of it on the timetable, but after seeing the contents, it seems very intriguing.
My expectations for the course
I don’t have any experience in marketing rather digital marketing but knowing the basics of business and using common sense, I think I will get thought this course nicely. I have heard and seen the terms and keywords like search engine optimization and MailChimp etc., but I haven’t really delved into them. WordPress as a blogging platform is very familiar to me, but only in a hobby-level, so I haven’t used any of the advertisement-related tools like SEO, so it’s nice to get familiar with them now.
It’s funny how I decided to subtract seemingly the use of social media, and immediately we have a course related to them. But I think it’s only fair to learn these digital marketing tools and ways, because it’s crucial channel for reaching the customers.
I’m really curious about the contents of this course, and though the exam is always scary thing, I think this is one of my favorite courses of this year. The various tasks and lectures and reading materials combined felt like a lot at first, but now when I’ve gotten time to process the entirety of the course, it doesn’t seem that daunting anymore.
It’s nice to know that someone has used this wordpress platform before because this is not familiar to me and I may need some help 🙂 I’m also scared of the upcoming exam!
