We will be joined by the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.polarcluster.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\">EU Polar Cluster<\/a>\u00a0both during organization and on-site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event is open to EU Arctic policymakers in the European Commission, its various departments and agencies, European members of parliament, and the Arctic research community. The focus will be on interaction and discussion on-site, still there will be a live-stream and a recording of the meeting available afterwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will discuss the latest understanding about changing Arctic biodiversity and its societal implications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Learn about \u201cLife on land, in the ocean and in the fjords\u201d through key insights and research findings from ECOTIP, CHARTER and FACE-IT;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discuss with an expert panel of Arctic and EU policymakers on the policy implications of such research findings for the EU, including with regards to the EU Arctic policy, the Mission to Restore our Oceans and Waters, and other relevant initiatives;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>explore three photographic\/multimedia exhibits from the projects, which will be launched at this event.
