On Tuesday we had our final presentation, where we presented our ideas and introduced our project. Therefor, we came up with a unique experience for inquisitive tourists, where they have the chance to learn more about the Arctic Circle and Lapland. As we were supposed to integrate the Roosevelt cabin, we built our tourist experience literally around it and made it our main attraction. Another important issue for us, was to combine the Roosevelt cabin with the Arctic museum in Rovanimi, the Arktikum.

We created a tour, where tourists have the possibility to book a local tour guide dressed in 50s’ cloths, who takes them around in Rovaniemi. In addition, tourists should be able to guide themselves through an application, if they want to explore the city by themselves.

I think that we did not only create an outstanding tour for tourists, but also had the possibility to experience Rovaniemi by ourselves. Although, I live here since almost 3 months I have the feeling that I know now more about the city and its culture.

I think that we made up a really good team and managed the challange perfectly.
