Learning Café

In this blog post I would like to share my experiences in this “Learning Café” method.

We worked in groups with 5-6 members, so we could split the whole article between us. Our topic was the Branding in the inbound age, which I found pretty ineteresting. My part was about how to build an engagement between your company ad your customers.

I would like to mention 3 interesting points about my part of the article. Firstly you need to segmententing the customers, which means definding their needs and track their habits. The second and the most important is the concent, what you create. You need to be creative, because as I have learned content=brand, which means if you publish somthing boring content, that is going to define your brand as well. You need to be aware that being on the social media can be helpful, but can be harmful at the same time. Thirdly, the social presence is about the channels you use to reach your target group. So you don’t need to be on every social platform, only those where are your “buyer persona” is.

I shared this part of the article with Gini and we both found the same parts interesting and relevant so there was no disagree between us. It was a great feedback for me, that I have done my homework well.

In the beginneng of the Learning Café, everybody in our group discribed their topics. That was importat, because 1 member of our group needed to stay, while the others were mooving around to learn from the other groups. We prepared a mind-map, which was represented in a few main points our topic, such as Creating brand for customers, Putting brand into play, Monitoring the brand, Measuring the brand and the conclusion.

Then we listened several useful project about marketing. In my view it was a great way to learn from our classmates. I have seen that they put many effort in their work. The most interesting topic for me was the Digital Marketing, because they made a short, meaningful and clear presentation.

After this “tour”, the teachers provided us some delicious cakes and coffee. In the end each group needed to take an other presentation not just for us, but for Tuija and Ritva as well.

I hope I can take part more lesson like this. I really enjoyed!

PS.: I have already started to write my own blog about our life in Rovaniemi. Although it is in hungarian, there are many images worth watching. I feel that this subject helped me how to create a blog in a more professional way, so I will use these methods lateron.
