LeTo project was presented in MTI’s Campus team in 28.4.2016. The audience included our teaching as well as R&D project’s staff. The athmosphere was very enthusiastic.

Paula Aspholm, a Tourism Coordinator of Salla Municipality and an alumnus of tourism research of our university, visited MTI’s campus 13th April 2016. Paula’s experiences from tourism business were interesting, enlightening and encouraging.

Salla, “In the Middle of Nowhere” is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Finnish Lapland, it is visited by plenty of tourists from Central Europe each year. Ms. Aspholm’s learning experiences and career path is the kind of we want to learn ourselves and if possible enhance also in Learning Tourism project.

We had visitors in Rovaniemi from School of Economics and Management in Public Administration in Bratislava in 17 May. We discussed on international tourism education and LeTo project was recognized as significant tool for that.

Learning Tourism (LeTo) project’s transnational meeting in Rovaniemi, 25.- 29. October 2016.  Dr. Klaus Fischer, Director of Allgäu Marketing giving presentation in 27. October 2017 to Lapland Tourism College Students . The presentation is about tourism in Allgäu and exchange of good practices among Allgäu and Lapland.
