Matrix 2 project has developed digital tools to support the strategic risk management of tourism businesses and industry in Lapland. The tools help tourism stakeholders to evaluate the level of risk management, introduce steps to developing more comprehensive risk management plans, and to anticipate and prepare for possible changes in the operating environment in time.<\/p>\n

The tools have been developed in a participatory process involving local tourism entrepreneurs, tourism destination organisations and business developers. Interviews, workshops and feedback have been gathered to gain understanding of the needs and wishes for risk management in tourism industry in Lapland.<\/p>\n
