Have you ever got lost in the tranquility of mountains? Being born and raised in the lap of Himalayas has always made me feel something special about it. On the top of it, being able to enjoy the moments in the middle of mountains filled with dense forest of Rhododendrons and endearing villages on the way is like a total blessing of mother nature, and who would not like it?

Mountains are true healers

It is kind of daily routine to wake up to the majestic views of mountains. Even if it is far, without any doubt it is always closer to my heart. Trekking through mountains had always been in my bucket list which I got to tick off last year. And it didn’t fail to amaze me. I can not deny it was my favourite escape activity from busy and noisy city life. The moment cold breezy air touches me, it drains all my stresses away. Being able to stand in the middle of nowhere with mountains on all sides even just for a while was enough to make me feel livelier. Similarly, it was enough to connect my soul with the mountains and true version of myself.

How mountains revive my soul

It’s obvious that no one can resist when the mountains call. And the fact that I was spending time out in the mountains was more than enough to regenerate my soul. It’s as if there is some energy helping me to fill the void of my heart and bring inner peace. I have to confess that it made me content and very happy as well as the best part about being there is to slow down. Moreover, it is the time when one can refresh, reflect on the big picture and reconnect. No internet? No connection with outside world? That’s not a problem. Because that’s what escape is all about.

Mountains help you grow

Mountains as the metaphors are the good illustration of life. They have to go through everything like we do in our life yet they always stand still. For that reason, the stillness and calmness inspire me to be ready to take anything that comes my way. Likewise, one can absolutely develop personal growth. Going out of comfort zone helps you explore more and interacting with mother nature makes you realise the importance of natural world. Most importantly, you become responsible human being.

This trek was a wonder for me. I am grateful that I was able to create such an amazing experience and learn a lot. This helped me change the insights on life and focus on the positive aspects. You can have enough quality time for evaluating and analysing your thinking which consequently also widen your perspective while helping you to evolve to be better person. I got to know how much importance little things hold in our life and every bit of tiny moments. I have never felt this FULFILLED! And certainly, I am not letting that feeling go away. The last day, I promised myself that I would definitely be back. Because that day, I left a piece of my heart there.
