The project designed and piloted art education practices specifically adapted to northern and Arctic conditions from the perspective of higher education pedagogy.
The AAE sub-project was funded by the Nordplus Horizontal fund / the Nordic Council of Ministers

Implemented in collaboration with universities, cross-sectoral partners, and selected local communities in Northern Scandinavia and Greenland, the project facilitated community-based workshops for residents, students, art educators, artists, and partner organisations.
Each pilot culminated in courses, seminars, and pop-up exhibitions held across the Arctic, presenting and evaluating the outcomes.
A key result was the creation of the Nomadic Hub—a mobile, context-sensitive hybrid model functioning as an international university course, research environment, knowledge exchange platform, and participatory art education event.
