Photo: Annamari Manninen, 2024<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-container-core-column-is-layout-119bc444 wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:60%\">\n<p class=\"has-heading-font-family has-x-large-font-size\" style=\"line-height:1.2\">Through this network, the initiative sought to promote sustainability, social justice, and well-being for all citizens, with a particular focus on children and youth in local Arctic communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-87beb0d0 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-container-content-9cfa9a5a\">Its primary aim was to establish and sustain a long-term, transdisciplinary network of collaboration in arts and education among Arctic universities and key stakeholders from education, humanities, and social sciences. The project supported networking, knowledge exchange, and the formation of innovative partnerships in Arctic art education.<br><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Underpinning the project is the concept of <em>New Genre Arctic Art<\/em>, which emphasises socially, culturally, and ecologically engaged art committed to social transformation.
