Cooperation between nature entrepreneurs and social, healthcare and educational actors in new service models
In order to achieve customer needs and cost-effectiveness in the social, health and education sectors, new kinds of service models and collaborative forms are needed. Farms, as well as tourism and nature companies, have a lot to offer in the field of social, health and education services, for example in the area of environments and skills. The development of cooperation between nature-based companies and public actors needs to be backed up by special efforts.
The Nordic NaBS project supports the starting points based on the natural health and wellbeing impacts of common service models, including Green Care, NUR, Gröna Arena and Inn På Tunet services. The project’s regional and international workshops, service pilots and webinars are designed for all those interested in developing the nature-based services and related competences. The project operates in Finland in the regions of Lapland, Central Ostrobothnia and Northern Ostrobothnia, as well as in Sweden, in Västerbotten and Norbotten.
