Service piloting

The piling of nature-based services develops service models for the needs of customers in the social, healthcare and education sectors. In the pilots services are produced by the entrepreneur, the customers are guided by the social, healthcare and educational organisations and the support for piloting comes from the Nordic NaBS project.

The project provides support for the development of services and some entrepreneurs. Some entrepreneurs are selected for piloting through competitive tendering. Those entrepreneurs who will be selected for the pilots will be reimbursed for the implementation the services according to the project objectives and criteria. The social, healthcare and educational actors are supported in finding a suitable service provider for the entrepreneur.

The principles of the service of the Nordic NaBS project

With the support of the project, piloting cycle  is looking for pairs from service providers i.e nature entrepreneurs and social, healthcare and educational organisations, i.e. services buyers. The nature entrepreneurs who fills customer needs will be selected in competitive tendering.

Piloting principles:

  • The project supports pilots designing and is responsible for the facilitation and documentation of the implementation of service experiments
  • Through competitive tendering the selected entrepreneur is reimbursed EUR 50 (+ VAT)/hour according to the working hours used for the customer guide. Customers/entrepreneurs themselves, according to their mutual agreement, to the overcurrent costs
  • The parties involved in the pilot are responsible for their own insurance, customer insurance is the responsibility of the sending organisation.
