Phase 3<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

At this phase, the thesis is checked for plagiarism, after which the thesis is submitted for final evaluation.<\/p>\r\n

Checking the title of the thesis<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

If the title of your thesis changes from the title given in the topic proposal, you must update the title of the thesis to be correct before submitting the thesis for plagiarism check and evaluation. You can change the title through the \u201cInformation\u201d view on the right side of the front page.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

  1. Open the \u201cInformation\u201d view.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  2. Select \u201cEdit\u201d.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    1. In the \u201cTopic proposal\u201d view that opens, change the title of the thesis.<\/li>\r\n
    2. Add the thesis titles (both in English). For example Customer-oriented Digital Service in Finland.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
    3. Select \u201cSubmit\u201d.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

      Plagiarism detection<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

      After checking the title submit your thesis to the plagiarism check. Please note that only a file in PDF format can be submitted to plagiarism check.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

      1. Submit the thesis ready for evaluation to the plagiarism check by selecting \u201cUpload file\u201d.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
      2. Add the desired file by selecting \u201cChoose file\u201d.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
      3. Select \u201cSubmit\u201d. The file you have added will be transferred to the Turnitin plagiarism checking system.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

        Your supervisor will approve the plagiarism detection report if it meets the requirements, If it does not, you will get feedback from the supervisor to improve your thesis report.<\/p>\r\n

        When the plagiarism detection has been approved and no changes are needed, the thesis is ready for evaluation and you will get a permission to take the maturity test.<\/p>\r\n

        Abstract review<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

        Students who have received secondary education in Finnish need to write the abstract in Finnish. In accordance with the instructions provider by your supervisor, send the abstract of your work to the language teacher for review via Wihi if the teacher is not included in Wihi as a supervisor.<\/p>\r\n

              Update your thesis based on given feedback.<\/p>\r\n

              Sending the final version of your thesis to the evaluation ( in case if you have made changes after plagiarism detection)<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

              1. Add the final version in PDF-format by selecting \u201cUpload file\u201d.<\/li>\r\n
              2. Add the desired file by selecting \u201cChoose file\u201d.<\/li>\r\n
              3. Select \u201cSubmit\u201d. The file you have added will be forwarded to your supervisor.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

                Statement by the commissioner, self-evaluation and peer feedback
                <\/strong><\/p>\r\n

                The commissioner gives feedback on the work you carried out.\u00a0 In addition, the student prepares a self-evaluation of their thesis. The self-assessment is done using an electronic form found on the website<\/a>. If peer evaluation is used, peer feedback is given as agreed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

                1. Send your thesis to the commissioner for feedback by selecting \u201cSend for external comments\u201d.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
                2. Add the file by selecting \u201cChoose file\u201d. Submit the version in PDF format.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

                    Electronic feedback is stored in the thesis area for review for the supervisors and thesis authors.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

                    Final evaluation of the thesis and approval of the finishing phase
                    <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

                      \r\n
                    1. After the supervisor has evaluated the thesis, the thesis is to be published in Theseus. Once you have published your thesis, select \u201cAdd\u201d to add a link to the thesis you have published.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
                    2. Add the link to your thesis in the \u201cLink\u201d field.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
                    3. Send the link to your advisor by selecting \u201cSubmit\u201d.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

                      The thesis project view will display the address of the published thesis.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

                      Once you have completed all the phases, the status of the thesis project will be updated to \u201cCompleted\u201d and all the phases will have the status \u201cApproved\u201d.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

                      Once the thesis evaluation has been entered in the register, the \u201cDownload evaluation\u201d screen will become visible. By selecting \u201cDownload evaluation\u201d you can open the evaluation report of your thesis.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

                      Once the evaluations have been entered in the register, all attainments will be displayed in your ISP. In connection with the final evaluation, the study assessments related to the thesis change from the grade \u201cPass\u201d to the final grade of the thesis.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
