Until recently, cultural sensitivity has not been widely used or conceptualised in Tourism Studies.\u00a0The first course titled \u2018Cultural Sensitivity in Arctic Tourism\u2019 provided examples of\u00a0culturally\u00a0sensitive\u00a0business innovations, product development, digitalization, marketing and cultural sensitivity in tourism companies.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0in-depth course builds on the learned lessons of the first course.\u00a0Nevertheless, it is\u00a0possible to\u00a0begin\u00a0your studies directly from\u00a0this course\u00a0\u2018Research on Culturally Sensitive Tourism in the Arctic\u2019\u00a0without completing the other course.\u00a0The main purpose of this self-study\u00a0online\u00a0course is to help you to enhance your theoretical and conceptual understanding of cultural sensitivity.\u00a0<\/span>You will gain new knowledge through readings,\u202fquizzes, interactive padlets,\u202fand self-reflective exercises.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
