A brochure “Tornio and the measuring of the Earth” tells about triangulation measurements in Tornio area in the 1800s. The brochure can be downloaded as a pdf.<\/p>\n

This brochure was produced by the \u2018Northern parts of the World Heritage Struve Geodetic Arc\u2019 project partly financed from the EU\u2019s Interreg Nord programme. The aim of the project is to increase awareness on the Struve Geodetic Arc and to make it more accessible with different digital solutions, for example.<\/p>\n
