A Tool for SMEs for Sustainability Reporting
Sustainability reporting doesn’t have to be complicated—and that’s a good thing. Its real value lies in using the results to support strategic decision-making. A well-prepared sustainability report helps a company strengthen its competitiveness, meet stakeholder expectations, and enhance its ability to adapt in the green transition.
We offer a free tool for sustainability reporting in line with the VSME standard. The European Commission has officially recommended using this standard when financiers and/or value chain partners request sustainability information from micro and SME companies.
The tool makes complex regulatory requirements easier to understand and enables you to start building your sustainability report right away. Instructions for getting started are provided below.
Why should you report?
There’s no single clear-cut answer. However, if any of the following apply now or in the near future, it’s worth starting sustainability reporting:
- You are planning an investment and seeking financing. For financiers, sustainability risks go hand in hand with financial risks.
- You operate within a network that includes large companies or companies that emphasize sustainability. In this case, sustainability becomes a competitive factor.
- Your customers are looking for ready-made solutions for sustainable consumption.
- You are unsure whether there are hidden risks or opportunities. It’s worth finding out.
- You want to understand the impacts of your operations and take control of at least the negative ones as soon as possible.
