Risk Management Checklist - the minimum you should complete!

The Checklist works as a standalone tool or as an introduction to more comprehensive risk management, helping you assess your company’s readiness, safety, and development needs. It covers six key areas: personnel & competence, finance & administration, customers & communication, services & daily operations, responsibility & environment, and safety & data protection. In addition, the Checklist includes laws and regulations that tourism businesses must take into account in their operations in Finland.

➡️Risk Management Checklist – print it out and keep it visible as part of your daily operations.

How to use

Print in A4 size and place it on the wall.

  • Check off the items that are in order – mark the ones that are missing.
  • Assign a responsible person and a date for every incomplete item.
  • Return to the checklist monthly: update the status and add the next steps.

Laws and regulations – a quick reference checklist

The list compiles the key regulatory areas relevant to tourism entrepreneurs in Finland (a summary, not an exhaustive catalogue): consumer protection & contracts, labor legislation, taxation & accounting, data protection & information security, health & safety, environment & responsibility, alcohol/food service regulations, as well as other local obligations.
Please remember to verify the latest updates from official sources.
