Throwback to our benchmarking trip to #Greenland – Kalaallit Nunaat a month ago, which started in Sisimiut.
We were warmly welcomed by various Greenlandic tourism entrepreneurs at Turisme Stormødet (Tourism summit). We learned about regional activities and community guidelines with Jesper Schrøder from Arctic Circle Business, and we were inspired by the diversity and quality of tourism initiatives such as Dogsledge Taxi. We also heard the stories of the #Sami reindeer herders Laila Inga from Inga Sami Siida, and Ailu Utsi from Davvi Siida, who gifted us with his joik several times during the trip. The next day Sanni Orasmaa took us on a outdoor adventure and invited us to tune in with nature (Soundbynature). Our visit in #Sisimiut ended with a spontaneous musical collaboration between Greenlandic DJing and traditional Sami song.

During the last two days we had interesting discussions around cultural sensitivity and guidelines. Moreover, some of us visited Kittat, where traditional Greenlandic costumes are made.
With this last video, we want to thank everyone who was involved with our trip. Thank you for joining our discussions and excursions, sharing stories, and giving insights from their companies! Moreover, this trip offered us many opportunities for future collaborations, so we are looking forward to being in contact with you again. Thank you, we could not be happier. <3
