Escaping the routine
How many times have we wanted to get out of the routine? How many times have we left our dreams aside? How many times have we wanted to travel but due to lack of time and money it has not been possible?
I come to tell you something that will change the way you travel or even the way you live.
Last summer I started traveling with a camper. It is a small camper, where you can sleep and have easy access to all the places. Initially, it was a van but we made it so we could sleep on it
I am an adventurous girl, I love new experiences and especially traveling. There are many ways to travel, but without a doubt the best for me is to travel in a campervan.
Advantages travelling in a campervan
- You don’t need to pay to sleep in your destination
- You choose, beach or mountain views?
- You can choose the place you like the most to spend the night.
- True luxury: natural environment without crowds
- Peace and tranquility
- You choose where, how and when
- Mobile home: Everything you need, you take it with you
It’s clear that not everything is so easy and not everywhere you can spend the night. But that’s what this kind of travel is all about, exploring and investigating the best areas of your destination.
Travelling as a destination
Since I’ve been traveling in a camper I’ve totally changed what the concept of “luxury travel” means to me. For me, luxury travel used to mean sleeping in luxurious and expensive hotels. Now I would describe luxury hotels as comfort and relaxation travel, but not luxury travel. What is luxury travel for me is to be able to sleep in the middle of nature, without overcrowding, closer to the reality of the place, maintaining its essence. In the end what we are looking for is a unique, real and fun experience and I think that is something that the camper offers easily.
When you travel in a camper you pay more attention to the places you pass through, the details, the sounds, the streets…. You get to know everything first hand and the more you know, the better you know how to get around on your own. Therefore, it is enriching because the more you learn about the place, the culture and what is allowed or not allowed, the more you will be able to move around and find the best of each place.
It’s very nice because in each place traveling in a camper is a different adventure.
Would you like to experience this way of travelling?
Oh yes, I would 🙂 During road trips to Northern Norway, I have overnighted in my Nissan Note, so a camper would have been luxury!
WOW, what a feature image!
