Starting Business in Lapland MOOC -project advances entrepreneurship and business ecosystem in Lapland by creating a high-quality MOOC (= Massive Open Online Course) for university students and international experts interested in starting a new business in Lapland. MOOC is created by taking into account Lapland as a special business operating environment and the specific characteristics of its industries. The main mission of the project is to advance entrepreneurship in Lapland and especially in Lapland’s key business areas. The project also develops Lapland universities MOOC-competences to international level. The key target groups in the project are university students in Lapland and international experts connected to the key business sectors of Lapland. The project is divided into five work packages:
Work package 1: Benchmarking international MOOC-solutions and seminars.
Work package 2: Designing Starting Business in Lapland MOOC.
Work package 3: Implementation and development of Starting Business in Lapland MOOC.
Work package 4: Marketing Starting Business in Lapland MOOC.
Work package 5: Project management.
